Netflix's 1899 has been dropped after one season.
Showrunners Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese declared the news on Instagram by means of a joint assertion on Monday.
"With overwhelming sadness we need to let you know that 1899 won't be reestablished," the assertion read. "We would have wanted to complete this staggering excursion with a second and third season as we did with Dim. In any case, in some cases things don't turn out the manner in which you arranged. Such is reality."
The assertion proceeded, "We realize this will frustrate a large number of fans out there. However, we need to thank you in all sincerity that you were a piece of this superb experience. We love you. Always remember."
The eight-episode series appeared on Netflix on Nov. 17, 2022 and focused on the excursion of a transient steamship traveled west. The excursion before long takes an unforeseen shocking turn when another traveler transport, the Prometheus, untied on untamed ocean is found which then, at that point, drives the gathering of travelers to confront a puzzling series of occasions.

In a meeting with The Hollywood Correspondent, Adar and Friese prodded that they had previously had thoughts briefly and third season for 1899.
The series was a development to Adar and Friese's past series Dull, which went on for three seasons. In 2018, Friese and Odar marked a selective numerous year by and large arrangement with the decoration.
